Notes: #400 replaces VX-30's DC-130A #497 as the drone launching aircraft for NavAir at Point Mugu. It was originally a Marine KC-130, and was modified for test work in Canada. It arrived to NAS Point Mugu on 7/10/05.

Subject: F-16B - 412th TW 445th FLTS - Serial #90-0952
Location: Edwards AFB, CA

Notes: #952 was one of numerous F-16s that were originally built for Pakistan. Due to political reasons, they were embargoed and stored at AMARC for over 10 years. Edwards received nine of these 'new' aircraft for test ops., in 2003.

Notes: C-17A #025 approaches the ramp with one of the 412th Wing's NKC-135s close behind. The nose still wears the red, white & blue "C-17" logo from its original testing.

Notes: This unique aircraft was originally with VX-6 from 1961 to 1999. It was then sent to DM, but taken back by VX-30 in 2001. It was sent to AMARC 1/20/05.

Notes: The famous all black VX-9 #1 is shown on approach to NAS Point Mugu. This was the last F-14 produced, and flew with VX-9 right up until the Det's decommissioning in 6/04... Just a couple months after this shot was taken.

Notes: This is an F-14 that was used as a set piece for the TV show "JAG". It was obtained from VX-9 at Point Mugu along with three other F-14s that went to local museums in the CA area.

Notes: This and the other three F-14s from VX-9 were eventually seized by US Customs 3/07 when it was determined they were sold without being properly demilitarized. This ship was stored in Victorville, CA at the time it was seized.

Notes: Note the "F-14D" and BuNo 164602 stenciled on the nacelle. This BuNo actually belonged to a real F-14D and was most likely a well researched detail added by a production person with TV the show.
